Uncategorized This is a question that I get asked, and I understand that it can be frustrating when you have suffered an injury, or have had an ache or a pain, and it doesn’t get better straight away. It can be more frustrating when you start to feel better but then that doesn’t continue and it seems to plateau – or you even feel other pains! Don’t be put off by your aches and pains not going away as quickly as they may have come on. Often, there are multiple structures (ligaments, muscles, tendons etc.) that are injured, and are contributing to your pains, so it can take time for them to heal, especially as they heal at different rates. ️You may have been suffering for a long time, years even, and got to the point where you just want your pain to go. It can take time, and multiple sessions, to unpick the layers that are contributing to your aches and pains, but I will work with you to get you moving better, feeling stronger, and feeling healthier overall. 🏾Stick at it, and focus on getting better – you will get there. 🏾If you need any help or want any advice drop me a message or give me a call. – 07495 452255……#Osteopathy #Osteopath #ManualTherapy #Massage #StokeOnTrent #Therapy #InjuryPrevention #HealthyBody #Recovery #Wellness #backPain #BackPainRelief #shoulderPain #ShoulderPainRelief #NeckPainRelief #NeckPain #Posture #Hip #HipPainRelief #Treatment #HandsOnTreatment #Massage #SportsInjury #WorkInjury #AchesAndPains #HealthAndWellness #HealthyBodyHealthyMind #Wellbeing By admin, 5 years29/10/2020 ago

Uncategorized Are you switching off from work? With so many people working from home, it can be more difficult to find the time to have a break and not be in ‘work mode.’ People I treat have been telling me about some of the positives, like not having to worry about a commute, being more flexible with start/finish times etc. However, they’ve also mentioned the down sides like feeling that they are constantly at work. The home and work environments are becoming the same. At times, there is no escape from checking those emails again, just taking/making another call, not getting up and moving away from the work space, and sometimes feeling like they’ve not really left work. A few simple ways to help you ‘switch off’ are:*Try and keep to a regular routine*Take regular breaks away from your workspace*Plan an activity at the end of your work day which is completely separate from work There are some really great tips at the following links:https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/entry/switch-off-work-from-home_uk_5e74bb4cc5b6eab7794647c5https://www.myfitnesschat.com/switching-off-from-work/It can be hard, but taking some time to switch off can be so beneficial for your mental and physical health.Take it easy! …..#workMode #SwitchOff #switchOffFromWork #workingFromHome #TimeOut #TakeTimeOut By admin, 5 years24/10/2020 ago
