So…what actually happens at an appointment with me? 🤔
Initially, we spend some time just talking about what brought you to me. I ask you a few questions so you can tell me how you are feeling and anything that you feel it is important for me to know. I also ask you about your medical history and make sure that I know everything I need to know so that I can treat you safely. ❓📝
It’s not just tennis players who suffer from this – if you are a plumber, carpenter, decorator, electrician, gardener or even if you work at a desk doing a lot of typing, writing etc you may suffer from the same. Repetitive use of the same muscles and being stuck in the same position for long periods can cause muscles to become tender and tight. Following a few simple exercises may help to relieve some of your discomfort. Osteopathy can also help!

If you are suffering from tennis elbow, or any other aches and pains or injuries, drop me a message or give me a call to get booked in!
Are you getting enough sleep? Getting the right amount of sleep can have a positive influence on your body and mind. It helps with recovery, improve concentration, keep your immune system strong as well as other benefits.
Not getting enough sleep can also have a negative influence on your body and mind.
Sometimes it’s not easy getting to sleep…I’ve been there, but there are a few things you can do to try and help. Simple things can help such as:
*Set a routine; try to wake up, and go to sleep at the same time each day
*Avoid napping in the middle of the day
*Avoid bright lights from phones/tablets/TVs within 1-2 hours before you go to bed
*Create a routine where you wind down and relax
*Try deep breathing exercises to help you relax
*Think about when you eat evening meals – avoid a large meal 1-2 hours before you go to bed
