Spending time in nature has been shown to be a positive influence on mental and physical health. 🏾 And with lockdown part two, it’s now even more important! Spending as little as 20 minutes is enough to help people to feel less stressed, improve their mood and generally feel more positive, physically and mentally. By nature, it doesn’t mean you have to travel for hours to get into the middle of nowhere, spending time in your garden, in a park, courtyard etc. is just as good as being on a hike somewhere. 🌳Even though the weather is starting to become a little bit more wet, I’m determined to keep getting out and enjoying the outdoors!🌧️What/where are your favourite places to go?Some useful links:https://www.mentalhealth.org.uk/campaigns/thriving-with-nature/guidehttps://www.health.harvard.edu/mind-and-mood/sour-mood-getting-you-down-get-back-to-nature……#nature #mentalhealth #physicalhealth #healthymind #healthybody #healthylifestyle #getoutdoors #freshair #goodforthesoul #keeppositive #DockseyPool #TheRoaches
